Myles Upchurch Named Freshman All-American by Baseball America

The right-hander received his second Freshman All-America honor
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball's Myles Upchurch was the named a First Team Freshman All-American by Baseball America, the outlet announced.
Upchurch was one of 32 freshmen from around the nation to earn Freshman All-American honors from Baseball America, as the recognition stands as the second All-American honor of his blossoming collegiate career. Upchurch also garnered similar honors from the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) on June 8.

- Played a key role in Alabama clinching its first Men's College World Series berth since 1999
- Compiled a 3.75 ERA (30 ER/72.0 IP) in 16 games, including 15 starts
- His 3.75 ERA was the lowest mark among the Tide's starting staff
- Finished his freshman season with an 8-3 record, adding 78 strikeouts and 41 walks
- One of only six Division I freshmen to make at least 15 starts this season
- Named to the SEC All-Freshman Team prior to the start of postseason play
- Accepted an invite to the 2026 USA Collegiate Baseball National Team Training Camp
