Women’s Tennis Places Eight on ITA Scholar-Athlete Team

The Crimson Tide also earned ITA All-Academic Team Honors for the 25th consecutive year
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– For two-straight seasons, eight Alabama women's tennis student-athletes were placed on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete team, the organization announced. The Crimson Tide has now placed at least six student-athletes on the academic list for the last 10 years.
The team was highlighted by senior Klara Milicevic who picked up her fourth nod in as many years, while Maria Andrienko earned the academic award in back-to-back years. Four freshmen received their first ITA academic honor, including Karla Batel, Addison Bowman, Amina Salibayeva and Mary Sidelnyk. Zara Larke and Kristina Paskauskas also earned the nod for the first time.
Alabama earned ITA All-Academic Team honors for the 25th consecutive year after recording a 3.92 GPA for the 2025-26 season.
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters (including freshman through senior year).
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). All varsity letter winners are factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
