Filip Planinsek set to Represent Slovenia in Davis Cup

The former National Champion is set to compete in the two-day tournament beginning on Sept. 18
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Former Alabama standout Filip Planinsek will represent Slovenia at the Davis Cup beginning Saturday, Sept. 18, in Ljublijana, Slovenia.
During the two-day tournament, Planinsek and the national team will face Israel in the first round of qualifying in World Group II. The winner will advance to compete for a spot in the World Group I playoffs that is scheduled for February 2027.
