Presbyterian (2/17-19): Earned time in all three games, starting the second game of the weekend while seeing action as a pinch-hitter in the bookend games of the series ... did not record a hit in four at-bats. Oral Roberts (2/24-26): Saw time as a pinch-hitter in the first two games of the series, drawing a walk in Friday’s contest. ULM (3/3-5): Played in the final two games of the series, entering as a pinch-hitter on Saturday before starting the Sunday finale ... went 1-for-1 in his pinch-hit appearance on Saturday for his first hit of the season ... followed with a 2-for-3 day on Sunday, highlighted by his first home run with the Crimson Tide ... contributed a team-high four RBI while adding two runs scored and one walk ... the multi-hit game was the first during his time at UA. Eastern Illinois (3/14): Finished 1-for-4 in his start at catcher against the Panthers. Samford (3/15): Recorded a pair of walks and went 0-for-2 by day’s end. Missouri (3/17-19): Started the first and third games of the weekend while pinch-hitting in Saturday’s contest … finished with one hit – a double – two RBI, a run scored and a team-leading four walks … totaled a pair of walks in each of his starts at catcher. UAB (3/21): Recorded a walk and a run scored against the Blazers in his first start of the season at designated hitter. South Carolina (3/24-26): Finished with a hit in all three games, starting the first and third contests at DH and the middle game at catcher ... walked twice and added one run scored against the Gamecocks. Auburn (3/28): Totaled a pair of walks and finished 0-for-2 against the Tigers. Arkansas (3/31-4/2): Ranked second on the team in average with a .333 (3-9) weekend against the Razorbacks ... added a double, an RBI, one run scored, a walk and a hit-by-pitch ... tied for the team lead in hits with a 2-for-3 day in Saturday’s win. Troy (4/4): Went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, one RBI and a run scored on the night. Ole Miss (4/7-9): Totaled one hit, a walk and a hit-by-pitch for the weekend in Oxford. UAB (4/11): Finished 1-for-1 with one RBI and a career-high three walks in the midweek contest. Texas A&M (4/13-15): Finished with two hits and a run scored against the Aggies, starting all three contests at catcher. Alcorn State (4/18): Went 1-for-2 with a walk in the midweek matchup. Mississippi State (4/20-21): Started the first two games of the series and entered as a pinch-hitter in the finale ... totaled three walks against the Bulldogs. Jacksonville State (4/24): Earned the start at catcher, going 0-for-2 across his limited playing time. LSU (4/27-29): Entered as a pinch-hitter in all three games of the weekend, tallying one walk. Auburn (5/6-7): Did not see time in Saturday’s doubleheader as he returned from graduation in Tuscaloosa … entered as a pinch-hitter in the series finale against the Tigers, drawing a walk in his lone plate appearance before being lifted for a pinch-runner. Grambling (5/10): Came in for pinch-hit duties against the Tigers, finishing 0-for-1 at the plate. Florida (5/12-14): Played in all three games, starting the series finale on Senior Day … totaled two walks on the weekend against the Gators. Appeared in 17 games, including 10 starts, during his first season in Tuscaloosa ... finished with four hits, one RBI, two runs scored and seven walks in those contests. Maryland (2/19-21): Started the Saturday matchup against the Terrapins ... finished 1-for-3 with a walk on the afternoon. Nicholls State (2/24): Made his second start at catcher, finishing with one walk. North Dakota (2/26-28): Entered as a defensive replacement in the series opener and then started game two of the series against the Fighting Hawks ... finished with a sac fly and an RBI. Troy (3/1): Finished 1-for-3 as the Tide’s starting designated hitter. USA Baseball-Irish Classic (3/4-6): Made two starts (vs. Niagara and Brown), recording one hit, two runs scored and two walks in the pair of games. Houston (3/11-13): Started Saturday’s game against the Cougars, drawing one walk. Auburn (5/6-8): Saw his first conference action of the season, entering as a pinch-hitter in the first two games of the series … did not record any hits in his two at-bats.
2015 (Sophomore - Grayson (Texas) C.C.)
Finished his sophomore campaign batting .296 (55-186) with 12 home runs, 37 RBI and 53 runs scored ... added 34 walks across his 54 games played ... helped lead the Vikings to a 37-17 overall record and a conference championship … also was selected to the all-conference team … earned Dean’s List recognition in his lone season at Grayson.
2014 (Freshman - Kansas State)
Batted .257 (36-140) with six doubles, a triple, three home runs, 31 RBI and 19 walks in 46 games played ... named to the All-Big 12 Freshman Team, making him just the second KSU position player to be named to the conference’s all-freshman team ... started 35 games with 31 starts at designated hitter, two at catcher and two in right field ... notched 11 RBI in conference play to tie for the team lead ... recorded a 15-game hitting streak, the longest by a Wildcat hitter.
