2007 (SOPHOMORE):
Saw action in three games for the Tide: against Canisius (Feb. 16), UAB (Feb. 28) and Mississippi Valley State (May 1) ... hit .500 (1-for-2) with one home run and one RBI ... handled all four chances behind the plate without an error ... smashed a solo home run in the Tide’s 12-1 win against MVSU.
2006 (FRESHMAN):
Made his Alabama debut against Lipscomb on March 29 ... grounded out in his lone at-bat of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Was a three-year starter at Bishop Noll Institute in Indianapolis, Ind. ... played for Coach David Griffin ...helped his team win the Indiana High School state championship as a senior ... led the team with a .427 batting average as a senior.
PERSONAL:
Full name is John Brian Clark ... son of John and Jan Clark ... has one sister, Marcie ... played in three straight Babe Ruth Baseball World Series (2002-04), winning the national championship in 2003.
