
Brooke Rogers Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Soccer Team

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama senior forward Brooke Rogers (Cincinnati) was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District IV team as announced Tuesday. The honor is the first for Rogers and a first for the Crimson Tide since 2007.
"Brooke has worked hard in all phases of her personal development throughout her entire college career," Alabama head coach Todd Bramble said. "This award recognizes her high level of achievement on the field, in the classroom and in the community."
Off the field Rogers has been named to the Southeastern Conference Honor Roll every season and was also a four-year member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and an All-SEC community service team honoree. The Cincinnati, native earned her degree in finance where she was awarded academic excellence and is now working towards a master's degree in finance.
On the field Rogers put together a career season. The senior was tied for the team lead with 14 points on a team-best seven goals. The target forward led the Tide to back-to-back victories to start the season, scoring the game-winner in the season opener and SEC opener against Mississippi.
