A local product, Kyle Cameron is ranked as the 12th best player in the state of Alabama by Perfect Game USA. An ASWA honorable mention all-state pick at pitcher, Cameron was also honored on Perfect Game's 17u and 18u WWBA All-Tournament teams in 2014. A 6-foot-6 righty, Cameron also competed in basketball, where he was a three-year letterman and a 2014 DJ White All-Tournament selection. His father, Jeff, and uncle, John, both competed in baseball at the University of West Alabama.
Coach Andy Phillips on Cameron:
"Kyle Cameron is a tall, 6-foot-6 kid out of Hale County who's got tremendous upside. He's definitely a strike-thrower. He can get the ball up to 90 miles an hour regularly. I'm really excited about getting to work with him. He's got a ton of potential, his ceiling is through the roof."
Coach Dax Norris on Cameron:
"Kyle Cameron is another guy that has a lot of upside. He throws a ton of strikes and keeps the ball in the zone. He competes and really gets after it. He's going to progress and he'll be a real good one for the Alabama Baseball program."

Atlanta, Ga. (Riverwood International Charter)
Davis Vainer joins Alabama's recruiting class as a top-500 player nationally according to Perfect Game USA. With a low 90's fastball in his arsenal, Vainer helped the 2013 East Cobb Titans win the AAU National Championship, while helping lift Riverwood International Charter to the second round of the state playoffs that year. In addition to baseball, Vainer also competed in football in his freshman and sophomore years of high school.
Coach Andy Phillips on Vainer:
"Davis Vainer is a hard thrower. He can get his slider up there real well and he can get his fastball up to 92 miles per hour. He's another guy that can come in immediately and make an impact. He has a power arm and it shows. We feel like he can do some tremendous things for the Alabama Baseball program."
Coach Dax Norris on Vainer:
"Davis Vainer has got a real good arm. He runs it up there 90-92 miles per hour on a regular basis. He has a chance to make an immediate impact for us because of his ability to throw strikes. He's going to make an immediate impact on this team once he gets on campus."
