AUSTIN, Texas – The Alabama men's tennis team (10-7, 2-6 SEC) dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 3 Texas (15-3, 6-0 SEC) on Sunday.

- Texas captured a fast start, jumping out to a 1-0 lead with doubles wins on courts one and two, respectively
- The Longhorns would secure the team win with singles victories on courts one, six and three
- Roan Jones battled the 13th-ranked singles player in the country, Sebastian Gorzny, into a third set (6-4, 3-6, 1-0)
- Andrii Zimnokh (3-6, 4-2) and Damien Nezar (4-6, 5-4) were both leading in their second sets on courts four and five, respectively, when the match was decided
