The annual day of giving campaign will run from Tuesday, April 7 through Thursday, April 9
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Bama Blitz, The University of Alabama's ninth annual online giving event, returns in 2026 as it begins at noon CT on Tuesday, April 7 and ends at noon CT Thursday, April 9.
Bama Blitz leverages the power of social media and crowdfunding to encourage alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends to give back and pay it forward in honor of their favorite cause, college, or program.
Rochelle and Michael Koslin's $12,000 challenge gift will be unlocked once three hundred donations have been made.
"Scholarships create opportunities for the best and brightest student-athletes to earn a college degree and compete for championships at The University of Alabama," the Koslin's said. "Any contribution to the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund - big or small - is an investment in the impact these student-athletes will make on campus, in competition, in the community, and in the future. We are happy to contribute to this worthy cause and hope that others will join us."
About Bama Blitz
- Donations to Athletics during Bama Blitz will benefit the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund (CTSF), the annual scholarship fund for Alabama Athletics.
- Alabama Athletics has set a goal to raise $58,530 – the cost of a full annual scholarship for a student-athlete.
- Donors who contribute $40 or more to CTSF during Bama Blitz will receive a home state decal, so they can show their Bama pride where they reside.
