The contest will return to action in the top of the 8th with the Crimson Tide at the plate
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – After heavy precipitation on Sunday evening halted game two of the NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional, the Crimson Tide and Red Storm will resume the suspended contest on Monday, June 8, at 11 a.m. CT. Gates at Sewell-Thomas Stadium will open at 10 a.m.
Fans with tickets assigned for game two will be allowed re-entry by simply showing their ticket upon entrance. Those wishing to attend without tickets can visit the ticket window at Gate 1.
If game three becomes necessary, Sewell-Thomas Stadium will be cleared, as fans in possession of tickets for the Super Regional finale will be subject to ticket scanning. Game three would then take place 55 minutes after the conclusion of game two.
The suspended contest will resume in the top of the 8th with a runner on first and no one out with Alabama's Luke Vaughn scheduled to bat. Fans can again tune in to watch the Crimson Tide and Red Storm on ESPN2. The if-necessary game 3 would air on ESPNU.
