University of Alabama Graduates 22 Student-Athletes During 2026 Summer Commencement

The Crimson Tide’s summer graduates spanned 12 different sports
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - A total of 22 Crimson Tide student-athletes received their diploma during The University of Alabama's summer commencement, which took place over the weekend at Coleman Coliseum.
Summer Commencement Highlights
- A total of 12 different UA sports were represented by the 22 student-athletes that earned their diplomas over the weekend
- Six football players walked across the stage on Saturday highlights by First Team All-American and NFL First Round pick Jihad Campbell of the Philadelphia Eagles
- Other football players who received their diplomas last weekend included Chris Horne, Jarret Johnson, Austin Mack, James Smith and Conor Talty
- A total of five baseball players that competed in the College World Series also walked across the stage including Sam Christiansen, Ashton Crowther, Kaden Humphrey, John Lemm and Jason Torres
- Five-time national champion and 2025 Bowerman Award winner Doris Lemngole received her undergraduate degree in sports management
- Lemngole's teammate Oussama El Bouchayby and volleyball's Rebecca Stevens each received their master's degree
- A combined total of 176 student-athletes took home diplomas during the 2025-26 academic year, with 40 going through fall commencement ceremonies, 114 graduates who earned degrees in the spring semester and 22 in the summer.
