
Alabama to Play in Inaugural SEC/Big 10 Volleyball Challenge Week in 2026

The Crimson Tide will play Northwestern and Iowa Sept. 3-4 in Starkville, Miss.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference and the Big Ten Conference announced their partnership Monday for a SEC/Big 10 Volleyball Challenge Week starting this fall, with Alabama competing against Northwestern and Iowa for its participation in the inaugural event.
Both of the Crimson Tide's matches in the SEC/Big 10 Volleyball Challenge Week will take place at the Newell-Grissom Building in Starkville, Miss. Alabama will face Northwestern on Thursday, Sept. 3 before facing Iowa on Friday, Sept. 4. All 18 Big Ten programs and all 16 SEC institutions will take part in the event, which starts on Tuesday, Sept. 1 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 6.
