Seven Alabama Softball Players Earn NFCA All-Region Accolades

The seven honorees are the most since a program-record eight in 2021
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its 2026 Division I All-Region teams Thursday, with seven Alabama players represented in the South Region. First Team All-Region honorees include Jocelyn Briski, Marlie Giles, Alexis Pupillo, Brooke Wells and Jena Young while Vic Moten earned Second Team accolades and Ana Roman was selected to the Third Team.
The seven honorees are the Crimson Tide's most since setting a program record with eight in 2021 and its five First Team members are its most since placing six on the First Team in 2012. Alabama's seven All-Region selections are the most in the South Region and the second most of any team nationally.
Young is the only previous All-Region winner of the seven, earning Second Team honors out of the Midwest Region last year at Iowa.
