Fay and Neal were named to the league’s second team while Upchurch was among All-Freshman selections
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama baseball's Tyler Fay, Brady Neal and Myles Upchurch each earned Southeastern Conference postseason honors, the league office announced Monday afternoon. Fay and Neal were each named Second Team honorees, while Upchurch was among the All-Freshman Team selections.
Fay's addition the conference's second team marks the second consecutive season a Crimson Tide starting pitcher has garnered All-SEC honors, joining Riley Quick, who also earned second team distinction in 2025. The 2025-26 seasons mark the first two-year stretch since 2001-02 that Alabama has produced back-to-back all-conference starting pitchers (Lance Cormier, 2001-02).
Neal is Alabama's first player since Wade Wass (2014) to earn all-conference honors in the designated hitter/utility role, while Upchurch is the sixth member of the Crimson Tide to be named to the SEC All-Freshman Team since 2022.
