Alabama Volleyball Hosts Mississippi Duo This Weekend

TUSCALOOSA - The University of Alabama volleyball team, who got things back on the winning track on Wednesday night with a victory over South Alabama, look to keep rolling this weekend when they host a pair of home matches against Southeastern Conference Western Division rivals Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
The Crimson Tide opens the weekend competition on Friday night at 7 p.m. in the CAVE against Mississippi State. MSU is 1-17 on the season and is 0-8 in SEC play. Alabama is looking to continue its current success against the Bulldogs, with the Tide having won the last eight meetings between the two programs.
Alabama welcomes Ole Miss on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in a match that will be broadcast live on the radio by the University of Alabama student radio station - New Rock 90.7 FM. The Lady Rebels own a 4-19 record on the year (2-6 in SEC) and will face the Tide following a Friday night tilt at Auburn.
The pair of matches for Alabama is just part of their current six match home stand. Admission to all UA matches is free and all matches are played in the CAVE, at the rear of Coleman Coliseum. Fans can also follow all the action live on the internet via livestats at www.rolltide.com.
