Rising Senior Setter Ava Wallis Joins Alabama Volleyball

The Winter Park, Fla., native led Coastal Carolina with 547 assists in 2025
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama volleyball announced the addition of rising senior setter Ava Wallis to its 2026 roster, following two seasons at Coastal Carolina and one at Northeastern.
Wallis appeared in all 29 matches for the Chanticleers in 2025, posting 10 double-doubles with a team-leading 547 assists (5.31/set) along with 18 aces and 233 digs. She arrived at Coastal Carolina as a sophomore in 2024, appearing in 11 matches that season, after beginning her collegiate volleyball career at Northeastern in 2023.
Wallis is the second student-athlete so far this offseason to transfer to Alabama, joining rising senior libero Dionii Fraga from Oklahoma.
