Alabama Meets with Media Ahead of 2026 NCAA Tournament First Round Game

The No. 2 seed Crimson Tide will square off against No. 13 Hofstra on Friday
TAMPA – The No. 4-seeded Alabama men's basketball team met with local and national media on Thursday afternoon inside Benchmark International Arena to preview its opening round matchup with 13-seed Hofstra.
Since arriving in the state of Florida Wednesday afternoon, the team has been getting settled into a routine that included practice on Wednesday at the USF Yuengling Center where the team finalized its gameplan. On Thursday, the Tide traveled to the arena where players and coaches met with media, television and radio for 30 minutes before taking the game floor for 40 minutes.
The Crimson Tide and Pride are set to tipoff at 2:15 p.m. CT (3:15 p.m. ET) on Friday. The contest will be televised on truTV.
