DeLisle and French Named to Academic All-District Team

Alabama soccer’s Allison DeLisle and Katie French have both been named to the 2004 District IV Academic All-District team.
DeLisle, a junior from Huntsville, Ala. was named 1st team Academic All-District. This season she played in all 21 of Alabama’s games, starting 15. She also scored three goals and two assists and managed a career high 36 shots. She did all this while maintaining a 4.00 grade point average in Nursing.
French, a senior from Copperas Cove, Texas was named 3rd team Academic All-District. She became Alabama’s all-time assists leader this season and ranks third all-time at the Capstone in both goals and points scored. This season French scored two goals and three assists and has kept a 3.93 grade point average as a double major in Spanish and Public Relations. This is French’s third Academic All-District selection.
District IV consists of all NCAA Division I soccer teams from the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee.
